Everyone plays the same quiz at the same time. Lagos, London, Toronto, wherever you are, answering the same question in the same moment and watching the same board move.
How a session usually goes
The fun round
Football, music, film, geography, history, science, food, language, inventions, sport, television. Whatever we feel like that session. It is here to get the room warm.
The issue round
One subject that matters, sometimes written with an organisation that works on it. This is the round that does the work.
The prizes
Usually the top of the leaderboard. Sometimes a draw instead, so turning up is worth something even if you are not winning. Plenty of sessions run without prizes at all.
That is the usual shape. Some sessions run longer, some drop a round, and the subjects change every time.
Each date and time is announced ahead, so you can plan around it and more than one part of the world can be awake for it.
